Canon's Tamagawa Plant in Kawasaki serves as the company's in-house product evaluation hub, housing one of the largest anechoic chambers in Japan and one of the industry's largest hemi-anechoic chambers for EMC and noise testing. The ISO/IEC 17025-certified facility performs EMC, noise, flame resistance, and chemical emission (VOC) testing primarily for Canon's own imaging and office products rather than as a commercial third-party lab.
