Hitachi Information & Telecommunication Engineering operated an EMC test laboratory in Nakai-machi, Ashigarakami-gun, Kanagawa Prefecture, equipped with three 10-meter anechoic chambers and one shielded room. The company ended its EMC testing and consulting business on March 22, 2021, and the facility was transferred to e-Ohtama Corporation, where it now operates as the Nakai EMC Center. Historically the lab supported VCCI, FCC, and other major international EMC standard certifications under ISO 17025 accreditation via VLAC.
