KEC (Kansai Electronic Industry Development Center) is a non-profit general incorporated association established in 1961 that operates ISO/IEC 17025-accredited EMC and product safety testing laboratories, with its Ikoma 2nd Test Site in Takayama-cho, Ikoma City, Nara. The lab is designated JP5207 under the US-Japan MRA for FCC testing and tests to CISPR, EN 55xxx, IEC 61000 series, FCC, ICES and automotive ISO standards for consumer, industrial, medical, wireless, automotive and MIL-spec equipment. KEC conducts testing and issues reports but does not issue certifications itself, and its measurements are supported by iNARTE-certified engineers.
