TELEC (Telecom Engineering Center) is a Japanese radio equipment certification body founded in 1978 and designated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications under Japan's Radio Act. Its Tokyo headquarters in Shinagawa operates a 10-meter anechoic chamber and is ISO/IEC 17025 accredited by VLAC (VLAC-011), with FCC registration JP0022 supporting FCC Part 15 and Part 18 testing. TELEC partners with TCBs to obtain FCC certifications and also provides conformance testing for VCCI, CE/EMC Directive, CCC, KC, BSMI, and its own TELEC Japan radio certification.
