UL Japan's Kashima EMC Lab in Katori, Chiba is an A2LA-accredited ISO/IEC 17025 facility specializing in automotive EMC testing, including high-voltage electric and hybrid vehicle component testing in two dedicated EHV chambers added in 2020. The lab also tests IT, industrial, medical, and wireless equipment to FCC, VCCI, CISPR, and major automotive OEM standards, and is part of UL Solutions' network of five EMC sites in Japan.
