FCC Recognition Withdrawn

This laboratory was banned from performing FCC compliance testing under FCC Rule 25-27, effective February 12, 2026. Test reports from this lab are no longer accepted by the FCC.

TUV Rheinland/CCIC (Ningbo) is a joint venture between Germany's TUV Rheinland AG (via TUV Rheinland China Ltd.) and China Certification & Inspection Group (CCIC), a Chinese state-owned enterprise which holds 49% of the registered capital. The FCC's Office of Engineering and Technology instituted a proceeding on October 24, 2025 (ET Docket No. 25-269) to withdraw recognition of the lab as an FCC-accredited test laboratory over concerns about PRC control, so its status for testing devices destined for the U.S. market is in active dispute. The lab has been accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by A2LA and also holds CNAS accreditation (L6454) for energy and conformity assessment testing.
